My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Ohio
Hello. A couple questions. After my son's accident he went thru a period of traumatic reactions. He was diagnosed with adjustment disorder. For the most part it went away after some time. He still has a bit of insomnia that just never went away after the accident. We tried to have it added to his claim but I got frustrated and stopped the process because they kept telling us different things to do and it wasn't worth it anymore. I just paid the psychologists bill. We just wanted to move on. Now that life has settled I am ready to seek any and all compensation that he is entitled to because no one,let alone a good kid who was just doing what his boss told him and he didn't know the risks and that it was actually illegal for him to do should go thru this. (Yes I am aware he is very lucky to have only had the injury he did-Im blessed it was only one finger not his whole hand or God forbid his life....
So questions one: can this still be added? I have the documentation from his therapist.
Question 2: Will a diagnosis like this affect him in the future? It was a condition that resulted from the traumatic accident. But as a mom who watched my big tough son cry for months and not sleep and when he did it was only with someone else in the room because he hated his life I just want what is best for him.
