My question involves a child custody case from the State of: washington
So yes nasty split, new fiance. 2nd one since the split. This one is horrible. He gave her power of attorney to act as his lawyer pertaining to our custody case. She thinks this means I have to co parent with her and only her. I yelled at her on the phone because she refused me contact with my ex about our child. Any text or email I send him is her rsponding. Ithe is driving a bigger wedge between us for Co parenting to even exist. So we had a settlement conference singed the parenting plan in front of the Commissioner it was entered into court and all we had to do is sign the agreed upon child support order. Well he went home to her and that is where the power of attorney came fro. And the not so nice phone call to her. How do I shut her down. Would this be grounds for a no contact order with her? Help we were done and now we have another hearing date!
I don't mind step parents at all. As I was one in this case. The mother of his other children contacted me to figure things out. I was very respectful and always asked her what would work for her. They are children that I love, but I was not birth right mother. I knew my place. We still talk to this day even though I'm not with him. So I am not that person that is step parent hating. Just know your place!
What should I do?
