My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Clark County, Las Vegas, NV
I was hired as a senior executive at a firm locally. I worked for several months without an issue but then the last paycheck I received was deposited into my account for over $5k but it was returned NSF. I didn't get paid for the next two months on any salary owed. I was then terminated. I filed a claim with the state board board and was awarded the full amount due which included the nsf check. The company is now fighting the matter is court against the labor boards decision. Can I ask that the county district attorney prosecute the case for fraud becuase of the nsf check?
