My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Arizona
My step son who is a minor and his GF who is a minor just had a baby. Her mother kicked her out when she found out she was pregnant, therefore we accepted her and the baby in our home. I know it was a tuff decision being that my stepson and her are minors. Anyhow, I am trying to get her ahccs (state assistance) so I can take her to get on birth control and continue to take the baby to the dr. With her being a minor will she be able to get it on her own without her mother being present? I am trying to get her as much help as we can, so she can become a responsible mother. We will help as much as we could, however I want to teach her the correct way even though she had a baby, it is not the end of the world for her. Also, what can I do to get her emancipated from her mother?
