My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: TX.
Only recently did I realized that an "internship" which I served in for years for a religious organization was actually child labor. Myself, as well as thousands of other children (aged 12-17), paid to serve as an "Intern" for a church camp, which utilized the children, rather than paid staff to serve clients food, clean dishes, maintain grounds, etc. It's been years since I volunteered, but this is apparently still happening to date. Can I do anything about this?
