My question involves a marriage in the state of: California
My soon-to-be-ex and I have agreed on terms of marital settlement agreement and need to sign and notarize it. She is refusing to meet at notary together to sign it and wants instead to go to notary herself, sign it and get it notarized, then have that delivered to me, me go to notary to sign and notarize that, and then I deliver what was signed and notarized by both back to her so she can file it with court.
Is this a valid option that would hold in court? I am in California if that matters. Thank you in advance!
