Some of you may know, that I recently made a post on this forum in the Criminal Law section. I pretended to be guilty of a crime, only explaining at the end that my post was fake/a joke. I perhaps made ot too real, and carried it out too long.
While I understand that this could be used in court, can an entire investigation be started just because of an internet posting in which I later claimed to be false?
I have nothing to hide, hoewever I don't want the police or any other agency to break down my door and take away my electronic devices.
Could a warrant be issued just because of one post? I don't care for the police looking into my google searches either...you know, everyone gets curious at some points.
