My question involves real estate located in the State of: Delaware
I am selling my home in Claymont, DE to a family member. Neither she nor myself have a real estate agent. We are looking for direction on what needs to be legally done to complete the transaction, or if there is a specific source we should contact to help guide us through the process..for instance, a title company? I'm not sure if they would be able to give us guidance on everything. Do we need to contact a real estate lawyer, is that necessary?
Any ideas what the costs of closing for a home would be in this situation (sale price 215k), when there is no realtor involved? Lastly, does the buyer typically pay all of these closing costs in this situation?
