My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Oregon
I was ticketed for speeding while driving my boyfriends car. The picture taken is of me with my hand covering half my face (I sneezed - what fortunate timing) so it definitely doesn't look like him, and it'd be hard to prove it was me either.
If he fills out the Certificate of Innocence, does he have to provide my name and address? If says on the Certificate of Innocence that they'd send me a "warning letter", so does that mean the fine is dropped as long as it doesn't match his photo? And if they do proceed to try to fine me for it, can a court successfully fine me for something I could contest as a blind accusation?
