My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Michigan.
I am a twenty year old sometime college student. I currently live with my family in Michigan.
I was let go from my job on January 2. This was an unexpected thing, and though the circumstances were suspicious, that's not why I'm here, trembling with fear about the question I'm asking.
After having filled out the paperwork for unemployment benefits and having submitted them, I was approved. I had already begun looking for work and I have had no trouble filling the provided sheet regarding the job search with positions I have applied for. However, I have planned to have Monday set aside at whatever job I take because I intend to return to college on a larger basis after having set it aside last semester (with disastrous results). I notated this availability concern on applications prior to my first appointment with the automated MARVIN service, which is meant to make sure that I'm doing what I need to in order to earn my benefits.
While filling out the MARVIN paperwork, I was asked if I had put myself out for 24/7 fulltime availability. I had not, as I've mentioned, so I told the truth.
I was greeted with "Availability - Generic Availability Pending Adjudication - Add Additional Docs? C[########]-0 In Progress "
I wrote a formal letter explaining my circumstances and sent it to the UIA through their internal messaging system. I have also attempted to call the official helpline, but it has always been busy.
Am I in some kind of trouble? Am I going to be taken to court? Should I send documents, as the service says I can? If so, which?
Adding to my concern:

This whole thing has been a slow nightmare and I haven't been able to figure out what to do, who to turn to. Please help me. Ask any questions you think would be necessary to more fully aid me in making it through this. I feel like I'm losing my mind.
