My question involves a child custody case from the State of: California
My ex-husband was receiving cash aid until 2014, at this point he got a job and stopped the child support collections, apparently he did not file a zero order and from that point on the standing order of $200 per child per month rolled on, unenforced by child support, last month he became mad at me and reopened the order and now I am in arrears for over $13, 000, child support is looking to modify the order now and has estimated I would now pay $211 a month. We have 50/50 custody but he only works minimum wage jobs. Do I have any recourse in the arrears or do I owe even though he was employed?
