Speeding Tickets: Exhibition of Speed

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California, Los angeles

Hi, Last night i got a ticket for loud exhaust and exhibition of speed, I was doing 65 in a 35, I know that it was wrong and it was dumb. I dont have any prior tickets or ever been stopped before, the officer told me that your car will be impounded for 30 days, today i went and talked to the detectives in order to get it released but they told me that they will not release it unless I have a hearing which then they explained that i would lose that because there was probable cause. My main issue is that next to the code its circled as an M which means misdemeanor, but on top of the ticket its has an X in the traffic box, not the misdemeanor box, what does that mean exactly. I already went to court and its not filed yet. Also this officer wrote the wrong code on my ticket, he wrote 23109(a)CVC which stands for engaging in a speed contest instead of 23109(c) VC which means what he wrote.
At the time there was a motorcycle in front of me but he was 300 feet from my car so the cop taught I was racing him, which i was not. also when i exited the parking lot before he stopped me I accelerated quickly which made my tires spin and get no traction since it was a challenger and you never get any traction.
I would like to know what you think should be my next step.
