My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: California
I hope this is the correct forum.
So the short version is this. My wife and I paid a videographer 4k to record our wedding. We were suppose to have a full video and and a short video. We signed a contract with him, paid via paypal, and in the end never received our videos. Looking at him on help several other people have the same complaint of taking money and running (unfortunately, those reviews were not up when we picked him out). I'm not sure how to pursue this legally since I cannot get in contact with him, he had been taking his websites down and is unreachable. Is there any hope to getting our video and if not our money? Should I reach out to the others on YELP and get a "class action" suit against him? (not sure how many are needed for a class action suit).
Any recommendations would be helpful.
FYI: We used his services 2 years ago.
Thanks,
Nick
