My question involves personal property located in the State of: South Carolina
I bought a building on August 15th 2016 which had a rental tenant doing auto repair at the time of purchase. Since this was no longer going to be a rental facility, I gave the tenant 30 days to move, He took two days longer to vacate September 18th 2016 and I assisted him by providing a truck and trailer to move his tool boxes to his new location to expedite the move. He did not have room for all of the metal storage boxes and new parts and assorted other items that were among them, at his new location and since I was not in an immediate need of that space I allowed him an additional 30 days of free storage thru October 15th. I was able to reach him by phone on Jan 6 2017 and notified him that I needed the space and he would have to move the items by January 31st. He came by January 26th 2017and removed 2 ladders because he has a need for them and have not heard from him since. My attempt to do no harem to this mans business was successful as he is still in business but he has not held up to his end of the agreement. What are my options for the remaining items that are now in my way and costing me money. I would be able to use some of the stuff and sell others but do not want any repercussions from what I was trying to do right. Thank you for any advise you can provide.
