My question involves criminal records for the state of: MI
A friend of mine has some embarrassing stuff in his probation record related to mental health issues, non of which he was successfully violated for. His sentencing terms also show that he was involuntarily committed to psychiatric treatment. The original offense was for possession of a small amount of felony prescriptions stimulants.
Is there any way to seal the probation record in a situation like this, to hide the mental health stuff? If he can prove that he eventually pulled himself together and wasn't a criminal risk any longer, could that help his case?
