Division of Assets: Wife Takes from the Custodial Accounts to Fund Her Stock Options

My question involves a marriage in the state of: Maryland

My wife and I are not in the process of divorce nor have we hammered out a separation agreement yet. However It's to the point where it looks like that seems to be the option. I've been pushing my wife to get off her lazy ass and get a job. She comes up with the idea of getting involved in the stock market. She withdraws money from both our kids joint custodial savings accounts that is used to fund her Etrade and Robinhood account. We are talking around 4K.

When I find out about it she explains that she has a plan to make money etc. She already at that point has bought stock. I get angry and lose it with her, I explain to her that i need to see (weekly update) of what the stock looks like.

Based on what I have found so far, she's lost around 4 to 500 dollars. She's also kept me out from her e-trade account intentionally and said that this is her money???

So my question is how does this work in terms of divorce when she has done something like this? Since these were custodial accounts under our kids names, how would this work out in terms of a divorce?
