My question involves criminal records for the state of: Florida
I am wondering, I had a juvie record for aggreviated battery as a juvie. I currently work for the county working with children but I am contemplating to work with DCF ( Dept of child family services. I did a pti ( pretrial divrsion program) was successfully completed. I have contacted the Department of juvie justice and they say I have no record of me and as well as the Florida Dept of Law Enforcement. I am a bit concerned since the record happend back in 85 and there is no record. Since I have had no other altercations with the law since then. I believe the record was automatically expunged when I turned 24, do I still need to report it on an application applying for a state job? The case is 31 years old. Thanks so much
