My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California, San Francisco
My boyfriend made a stop first behind the line, then proceeded to making a right turn on a "no turn on red" intersection. We realize that there was a Red Light Camera in that intersection, but we didn't see any flash when that happened. Also, there was NO "Photo Enforced" sign within 200-300ft of the intersection in the direction I was going, which means that I was not warned that there was a Red Light Camera up ahead.
2nd of all, I was not the driver. It was my boyfriend and I was actually sitting in the passenger seat. In court or writing, Am i able to contest that I was not the driver and able to NOT identify the driver ? What if the court/ judeg says "thats you sitting in the passenger, you know who he is". But we're not obligated to identify the driver. ty for the help in advance.
