My girlfriend is getting ready to move out of her parents home to attend college. She went to buy a car in full and her dad opted to pay half and "co-own" it so that she would have some spare cash for school. The thing is, is that the have no idea about me and her being together due to their restrictions on anything and everything she does. So my question is, say her dad (the co-owner) gets news of us and gets pissed. Would he legally be able to take that vehicle from her? If so, is there anyway to fight it?
