My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Mass
A cream fell into the toilet as I flushed. A week later it clogged. The maintence came out 3 times till they finally called a drainer who fixed it for good. Now they charging me all 3 times. Accusing me of flooding the floor and charging me for water damage to the person below ceiling. The maintence went nuts on me by the 3rd time and accused me of stuffing it etc. They stated if it happens again they will not renew my lease. They do take things out of context and lie in their statement they seem to also on one charge when I was home I know he was only here an hour but they charged me for 2 hours. I don't have the money I'm on a fixed income right now. Am I liable?
