Who Would You Write in Order to Correct How Races Are Defined in America

I resent the terms "White" and "Black" as official terms to describe people's race. I've never actually seen someone who's of European descent who has white skin or an African American who has black skin. They're inaccurate and the only reason these ridiculous descriptors are still being used is because white normally stands for purity, good, lesser evil etc (ie white hat, white lie, white goes first in chess etc) while black is normally represented as a negative (black sheep of the family, black balling someone, black market etc).

We refer to American born Asians as Asian, we refer to American born Indians (yes I know Indians are Asian) as Indian, we refer to American born Mexicans as Mexican. American born Europeans are European and for all intents and purposes American born Africans are African.

It is my hope that America graduates from using these archaic terms just as America has graduated from using terms like "nigger", "colored", or "negro" to describe people of African descent. Who would I write in order to make this suggestion?
