I received a ticket for apparently making an illegal left turn (didnt realize the arrow was still red). I am from out of state and have a long middle name. The officer wrote my middle name on the ticket instead of my last name. So to give you an example, if my name was John Westinghouse Smith (not my real name) the office wrote down "Westinghouse, John" on the ticket. Since my last name is not on the ticket can this be grounds for dismissal?
This is in NYC.
I tried to google this, but couldn't find an answer that was specific to NYC law.
