I have had a long time girlfriend that I met online. Tonight I was a little worried about her after not speaking for a bit, and came across her Facebook page. I found out about another guy, and spoke to him. Everything was a lie, etc, etc.
Onto the legal issue. So... I spoke to him, when she would not answer. We talked, I showed him evidence of our relationship, all that jazz. He spoke with her, and she claimed to have called the cops and been pressing charges. As soon as this was said, I backed off and said I would never speak to her again.
While I doubt she has actually pressed charges, it does put a bit of an edge in my mind. Any idea how long it might take for me to be notified of any crime I may have committed? Or even if this was considered a crime? All I can possibly think of is harassment, but I backed off immediately when asked.
