Co-Ownership: How to Add Your Spouse to the Deed of a Co-Owned Home

My question involves real estate located in the State of: Florida

Pardon me, as this may be better suited under Co-Ownership, but please direct if necessary.

Background:
I was married in 2011 and own my home, purchasing before marriage. I have lived in this home since it's purchase in 2008 with my then fiance/now wife.

My father and I are the only names on the deed listed as "joint tenancy with full rights of survivorship" and I am listed as a "single man" on the deed. He helped me buy the house. It was a cash purchase.

My father does not, has not and will not ever be living in this house and does not claim residency there. The homestead exemption, property taxes, maintenance, etc. are all in my name and handled by me and my now wife.

My father and I do not speak. I would like to ensure my wife is protected in the event of my death in that the house would not completely default to my father who is an elderly man of 89 years.

My question is this:
Can I take care of my wife by updating my part of the deed to reflect her as either my heir or give her some sort of tenancy/survivorship rights without affecting my father's "part" of the deed?

Thank you in advance.
