Medical Malpractice: Nursing Home Neglect of a Dementia Patient

My question involves medical malpractice in the state of:Indiana
My mom has early onset dementia and has been cared for by a nursing home for the last couple of years.she is 60 years old and had been diagnosed around 7 years ago.she had been pretty mobile up until they sent her to fort Wayne Indiana for behavioral problems such as throwing things and acting aggressive.the place where she was sent told me she was a perfect candidate for E.C.T..which was not the case cause it only fried the last bit of her cognitive ability and she returned bed ridden..well she got aspirated pneumonia about a year ago and has really decline since than..they have to get her in and out of bed with some sorta mechanical lift due to rigidness of her body.during this time she "fell or rolled"outta bed and cut her face wide open and received 14 stitches..now 8 months later shes in the hospital for 3 pressure ulcers.1 on her buttocks which is stage 2,and on her feet..both are really bad, they would be called "unstagable" they are doing a mri tomorrow to see if infection has reached the bone..the wound care specialist said the one on her left foot has reached tendon..i am soo upset and worried about my mom.how did such a thing happen..all they had to do was turn her every 2 hours
