My question involves traffic court in the State of: texas. On july 26th i was pulled over after leaving work for a headlight out. I was in my sister in laws car and couldn't find the insurance card. It did have insurance, usaa. I received two citations, one for headlight and one for no insurance card. Got court on August 22nd, went and got the headlight ticket dropped. I had my sister in law print me out a insurance card since she couldnt find the one in the car. I took that card with me to court but when she printed it it shows valid from date as the date she printed it and so they wouldn't accept it and told me i would have to go to court down town. I've since found the original card with the right valid through dates but they are dragging their feet about setting a date. I'm set to move to georgia the day after Thanksgiving. What do i need to do to get this taken care of so i can move? Thank you.
