My question involves real estate located in the State of: WASHINGTON
I have followed all the process of ACC and did install concrete in my backyard. Process is to fill the ACC form and to take approvals from the neighbors. I did complete the ACC form with approvals from neighbors and applied for HOA approval in Feb. The due time period for their response was 30 days and they never responded. I took permission from neighbors for pavers, but the quotes were coming expensive so I sent email to the HOA in April that quotations are coming expensive so I am switching to concrete. I still didn't get acknowledgement to my email or approval from HOA. So I went ahead and completed my project in may 2017. After one year in april 2018, they are calling me for hearing and they communicated this to the whole commnuity which is very embarassing to me. They never sent me a formal notice before and informing to the whole community is definitely not the process. This never happened to anyone in the community even when they never followed the process. I want to file a lawsuit on HOA. Let me know if I have a case here.
