I found a gps tracker in my car. Someone unknown put it there and has been tracking me. I brought it to the police, they said I need a court order if I want to proceed with trying to find out who this belongs to.
What does a court order mean? Typically in this scenioro would i have to get a lawyer and set a court date to figure anything out? How should I go about this and what should I expect during this process?
Do you guys even know if it's possible to track the owner down of this GPS? Even with all the necessary resources and legal help one would need.
