Passing a School Bus: What Will Happen if You Pass a School Bus But Are Not Pulled Over

My question involves a traffic ticket from: Las Vegas, NV

Yesterday, I passed a school bus with the stop arm extended on my way to school. The driver honked at me; and I became anxious and kept on driving. I know it was completely wrong, and I feel terrible about it. Even if no one was harmed, I feel like I'm going to think back on the guilt for a very long time.

No officers pulled me over or visited my house afterwards. I researched and learned that Nevada school buses are unlikely to have cameras, since the usage of camera footage not taken by law enforcement agencies cannot be used to issue a traffic citation. There's little chance anyone got my license plate numbers, but it happened on a road I drive on nearly every day.

I feel anxiety thinking about the potential consequences. There isn't much on the Internet about people who are charged for the same violation in my state, so I'm wondering if I should expect a citation in the mail or a visit from an officer. I read that the violation counts as a misdemeanor, which is frightening to me because I don't have a criminal record or any traffic violations before this. Needless to say, I've learned to be more cautious around school buses from now on. Any input would be appreciated.
