My question involves criminal law for the state of: Nevada
While out drinking one night I decided to drive to my boyfriend's house. I was intoxicated and did not have a license or a permit yet. On the drive to his place I ended up parking at a stoplight and fell asleep, impeding traffic which was why the police were called. They decided not to give me a DUI and gave me two tickets - one for driving without a license and one for falling asleep and impeding traffic. I have court soon and I'm really scared because I couldn't afford a lawyer or anything so I'm scared that I'm going alone and don't know what to do. I have gotten my license since then but I am nervous at what will happen. Can someone give me an idea of what to expect when I go to court or can suggest if I should contact someone to bring with me?
