Retail Fraud / Shoplifting: Caught Shoplifting at Macys

My question involves criminal law for the state of: nevada. I was apprehended for shoplifting at macys in las vegas nv. i took $25 worth of merchandise and was stopped as soon as i walked out of the door. a lady loss prevention officer approached me and showed her badge and told me i needed to come with her. I cooperated with her immediately as i knew a was caught. I was placed in handcuffs and escorted back to the loss prevention office where she took my ID and personal information. I signed 3 pieces of paper, a admission statement, a civil demand notice and a trespass notice. I also was banned from the mall where this took place. I know i was wrong and made a stupid mistake so please no lectures, i am so embarrassed already. Ive never done anything like this before and is completely out of character but never the less im guilty and and ready to face the consequences of my actions. Thankfully there were no police involved and i was released with the civil demand for $250 plus the price of what i stole so $275 total which i intend to pay fully ASAP. Ive been researching the consequences of shoplifting ever since this happened and I have a few questions i hope someone can answer. I was banned for 1 year from all macys but this incident didnt take place anywhere near where i live, if i go to and purchase anything at another macys will they find out that i'm trespassing? and How? I was also banned from the mall for a year and the paper says i could be arrested if i come back and they may also bring charges against me under nevada civil law. has anyone ever heard of civil penalties for trespassing? BTW i have no intention of returning i was just curious. Also when loss prevention was typing in my mailing address which is a po box, my physical address came up on her computer as she was trying to verify my info. how is that even possible ive never been in trouble before. and another thing, i had to give my SS# what is that used for? and last does anybody know if macys enters names of shoplifters in the retail theft database? As crazy as this might sound im glad i was caught and deserve my punishment, i will never do anything like this again.
