Nursing Home Injuries: Nursing Home Negligence

My question involves malpractice in the state of: Indiana I am looking for advice on what to do, or lawyer recommendations
I am emailing regarding my mother. My mother had a stroke November 2015 and it left her unable to walk and talk or move her body. Before her stroke, she was just as normal as you and I. It took the hospital Columbus Regional 2 days to diagnose her with a stroke after I requested multiple times for a CT SCAN/MRI they first told me no they cannot do an MRI this late on a Saturday, and they also said it was serotonin syndrome then they finally had a one done Monday. Sure enough, she had a massive stroke affecting both sides of her brain. From that point on she spent a month in the hospital and was discharged December 2015. When her stroke happened she had HIP insurance and is only 46. Most long term care facilities wanted her to have SSI since she is too young for Medicare. She was accepted into Willow Springs located at 2002 W. 86th Street Indianapolis Indiana . Upon her arrival my immediate concern was that she was not being turned properly. I knew this because at the time she had one pillow under her head. When I went home and came back she still only had the one pillow in her room under her head. So therefore, her body was not being supported like it should. The DON and ADON reassured me they would take care of it. Less than a month later I was notified that she had an opening on her coccyx starting. When visiting I always asked how it was coming along and the nurses would check the computer and say it was getting smaller and looking better. Near the end of February 2016 she was hospitalized related to the infection in her wound. At that point I asked to see the wound and it looked awful. The continued to treat it and sent her back to the nursing home. March 31st she was admitted to St Vincent with a stage 4 wound to the bone less than 4 months after being admitted to Willow Springs. I am very concerned for my mother and this is very unacceptable and 100% preventable and could kill my mother.
