My question involves malpractice in the state of: New York (Not NYC)
Hi People,
So I'm officially joining the Air Force Reserves/Air National guard on MONDAY!! (big step forward). How does this possibly relate to this problem with a psychiatrist/psychiatrists I've had? it's a GIANT Step forward to moving out, being on my own, etc.. (list goes on).
So I've been being involuntary treated & committed by psychiatrists since 2009.
I'm 19 years old.
Here's where it really begins:
My current (keyword), psychiatric medicine manager, or whatever their job title is, is currently working on fixing the problems my past psychiatrists have caused. That's just flat out embarrassing to all my former psychiatrists. I basically argued/counterargued that even being on ANY Psych. Med is dangerous. My (current) "Psychiatrist/medicine manager", EVEN AGREED with me that if THEY Fail to get me off the psychiatric meds ideally a few months before I transfer out -- I could file MINIMUM of a Civil Lawsuit for most likely a "stupid amount", or malpractice money ($$$$$). As I've aleady mentioned; I'm pretty much 1/3 of the way through with my AS Associate's degree. Plus, I'm joining the Air Force Reserves pretty much within 48 hours (literally within 48 hours), probably less than that. EVEN MY CURRENT PSYCH. Agreed that it would probably be worth filing a lawsuit for a silly amount of $$$$. Because it would legally be considered a legitimate grievance if they can't get me off meds in time. In other words again: I can legally bankrupt/get that psych. fired (legally), + Profit a stupid amount of money for (even they agreed), would be considered a legitimate grievance.
I'm now currently a student at the local Community College (CC) in my area. The thing is; I'm pretty much 1/3 of the way through with getting my Associate's Degree (AS). I'm intending on transferring to an out-of-area University (eventually), or fallback to one option for Liberal Arts College (still in NYS) for when I transfer. In other, words; The psychiatrist/or whatever you want to call it, is running out of time for cancelling my treatment at a RAPID PACE.
The good news for the "2-way street", is that they are working on permenantly getting me off these meds (they've agreed to pretty much all this I'm talking about here). I'm about to call up the psych. I currently have & explain I'm taking a GIANT Step forward to keep moving forward. I have been doing my end of the bargain to the best of my abilities (as it's a 2-way street).
Even more good news on my side: They [The Psych's], have even deleted (yes, actually deleted), some diagnoses I had on my medical records initially (amazing news).
I'm going to have to call them to let them know, since this is a legal 2-way street (third time), that I'm officially joining the Air Force Reserves within 2 days (yes) from NOW. I have to call them up on Monday to keep my end of the bargain.
For probably the 4th time, even the psych. themself agreed i can file a big lawsuit, definitely worth it, if they fail to keep their end of the bargain. Or if/when they run out of time to delete my diagnoses/cancel my psych. meds ideally a few months before I'm transferring (which is when they completely run out of time, and thus = lawsuit, even they agreed it would be worth it).
Either way it really looks like I'm going to get what i want pretty much either way. I really don't want to sue the psychiatrists, but I (might) have to if they fail to keep their end of the 2-way street.
**Even the psych (I currently have, the one getting me off meds), fully agreed if they don't promise, or do whatever that doesn't keep their end of this bargain, they would be paying me the biggest take-home paycheck. Literally. **
Just an update on another problem. Thanks!!
