My question involves guardianship in the State of: New York
Back a year ago (19f) I had a court case with both my parents about child support. Half way through the case the judge ordered me able to collect my own support from both my parents. At the end of the case after collecting 3-6months of support I lost the case. It's been 1year since but while filing FAFSA I wrote Im my own legal guardian. Since I was to collect support on myself, am I still though? How do I find out if I am?(without going back to NY physically *I'm in school and in FL state. So traveling is near impossible*)
