Just a curiosity question. Lets say person A lives in NY and person B lives in CT. Person A gets in a fight with person B but flees the scene back to NY before the police arrive. How would the police go about investigating a crime that occured in their state when the person who commited the crime lives in another? Would they call the suspect in order to question them? Or ask local police in person A's state to arrest person A in order to question them? What is the procedure?
