I was in an accident in November.My car was totaled and I was found at fault. The next day I found out that I was excluded from my dad's policy. I received a ticket for failure to yield. I decided to fight the ticket and it ended up being dismissed due to lack of evidence. The driver of the other car got arrested right after the accident for not having a licence. I received a letter a few days ago stating that the owner of the car is suing for damages. Could the owner of the car still sue even though the person that was driving their car didn't have a licence?
