My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: New York
I am the lease holder of my apartment and my name is on all the bills. I have lived here for over 5 years and have a great relationship with my landlord.
My roommate and I have been friends for over 10 years.
She moved in with me about 2 years ago and did so in good faith so I never wrote up any documents.
Over the past year she's been late on rent several times even having a check bounce and has not paid me for utilities in months.
I've sent several messages and emails but never get replies and we work separate schedules so I never see her.
Recently I finally caught her spoke with her about rent and utilities but she gave me the run around, I told her I'd like her to either take the smaller bedroom(trying to be nice) or move out. She said she's not moving out and she doesn't care what I say.
Every month the landlord calls me asking me where her rent is. What are my options? At this point I just want her out.

My Roommate Refuses to Move Out, I Am the Only Name on the Lease and All Utilities
