Don't Know if My Daughter Was Taken by CPS

My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: Texas. My question is about my child she's with her mother, my ex was taken by a caseworker for a folique and more likely will fail it, at the time she's had has been hidding from CPS what can I do I'm scare to loose my baby but don't want to get involved with court at the time ,but at the same time don't know if I'm the biological father and what right I have if she's not my, I'm on the births facts and my baby have my last name I have seen her growth for 9 months
