My question involves paternity law for the State of: florida
well one night 9 years ago,, 6 months before i met my current spouse now wife with 3 kids i had a one night stand. fast forward to present day i get a message from this woman on face book asking if ill be at the dna testing. so im floored by all this you would think if she knew enough about me to contact me on facebook i would have been contacted sooner. long story short she feels horrible for not telling me sooner but my proclaimed daughter has epilepsy and the only way to successfully treat it is to find out mother and fathers genetics thru her neurologist. so she filed a paternity test but i guess i never received it in the mail since they had an address i havent lived at in 8 years so i went down to the department of revenue and submitted to a dna/ paternity test i need to know regardless i love my kids and if i have one out there i want to know and i want to be in her life! she claims the only reason she is doing this is not for support she is not on any assistance and she just needs to know for sure to continue with the child in question neurologist for her epilepsy. monday will be 2 weeks when i hear if she is mine or not but is there anything i should know now any legal boundaries if she did go after back support especially since i had no idea for 9 years.....
sorry for the bad grammar but im beyond confused and so overwhelmed.
