My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Florida
I was on the Florida 836 right most lane when I went to switch to the left lane. I checked if it was safe to change, It was, as I was half way into the lane the lady behind me sped up and hit my back left tire, spun out and I hit someones rear. I was charged with improper lane change because the officer could not prove that she was speeding even though the guy that I rear ended had told him multiple times that she was speeding and cutting people off from way back. in fact he told the officer that he tried to switch lanes in front of her and she did the exact same thing ( sped up and didn't let him threw). can I fight it? and does she have a right to claim it on my insurance?
