Applying for police department. History statement asks for any past trouble (including expungements). Around 16 years ago I found myself in a lot of trouble. I was around 15-16 years old during this. I was ultimately charged with the following.... Breaking & Entering, Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Harassment, and Terrorism. Most of these were dropped when it was proven I didn't have anything to do with it (including the big bad scary one). All was expunged. Life went on, I joined the Air Force and won awards, promoted, and received three Achievement Medals. I completed my enlistment of seven years and here I now am. My question is this. Do I confess to this on my history statement and basically show myself the door? Or risk it not being picked up on and having a small chance?
