My question involves malpractice in the state of: New York
I was recently sent to a pain center for Right side Hip/waist pain . The Dr recommended an injection in my right SI joint and I agreed cause past injections in my L4-L5 region worked quite well. I get there for injection and past injections the Drs use xray and I noticed no xray and thought that's odd. as I lay on table the after prep the Dr injects my left side which hurt like hell and did Not Hurt before going to pain center, I said what was that and then she did right SI joint without a word. I was then walked to a room where I sat for 5 minutes and they sent me on my way. Needless to say I have been through torture and excruciating pain on left side in and around injection site going down around butt cheek and hot stabbing in my hip. I went back next day and the Dr said it's another disc. I told her I've had disc problems for 10+ years and it's not a disc. she still insisted she didn't do anything wrong and sent me for MRI of my lumbar spine. that showed nothing new and none of where my pain is located. I then go to my PC who proceeds to tell me that the MRI did show my SI joint and I had an air pocket. I was in 2 different hospitals in 2 different counties cause they sent me to see her PA 25 miles away while I can barely move, I asked why was there no xray machines and she said the Dr has done thousands of injection and doesn't need them. I finally get in to see my ortho Dr who says you can't see SI joint in this mri and that there is no air pocket. she ordered the right MRI for my SI joints and pelvic area. this has been going on for a month now and each day is worse. my PC finally agreed to give me something for pain that does absolutely nothing. Do I have a case against pain center Dr? I have never had this type of pain on my left side ever. what do or can I do?
