My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Washington State
Hello
I got into a minor accident around May 2017 and got a traffic ticket along with that. I deferred this ticket originally that time, but this requires that I do not get another traffic ticket within a year. However, I got a traffic ticket for being on my phone several weeks ago. I requested a contested hearing and was able to get in contact with my prosecutor, and luckily he allowed me to amend my ticket to a non-moving violation. However, I wasn't quite sure what to do from here? I am not sure if my now-non-moving violation ticket affects my deferred ticket, but if it does, I am really hoping to talk the judge into making it this new ticket not affect my previous deferral as this will raise my insurance price. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you in advance!
