My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Colorado
I have been stretching my ear piercings for the last few months. Today I finally made it to my goal size (00g) and my parents noticed and made me remove the jewelry. Is this legal? They're my ears, not my parents. Wouldn't them making me take them out be a breach of my right to my own body and to make my own decisions as a young adult? (I'm 14) And when I started stretching them my 24 year old boyfriend said if they made me take them out I could just put them back in when they're not around and it would show them in the boss of my body. Do you think a judge would agree?
