My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
I have developed a problem with shoplifting compulsively. I set off an alarm leaving a grocery store with a few concealed items. My car is new and has no plates but I checked out for most of what I was leaving with using my credit card and club card. Love followed to parking lot observed my leaving but did not approach. I'm not sure but assume they went back and reviewed tape. What are the odds I will get a knock at the door? I already know I need help and will get it I just want to know how worried to be. I have shoplifted there in the past without suspicion and wonder if they would review numerous tapes etc.
