My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Florida
My name was on a vehicle with someone else they got into a accident and we both was sued. The plaintiff agreed to payments which I still have receipts but he disappeared after I paid him off and he never gave me a satisfaction of judgement. I even wrote the judge he won't do anything. Won't reopen my case. It's been almost 18 years I have been fighting for my license. DMV told me to send 3 or 4 certified letter to plaintiff if sent back unopened they would give me my license back. I did that have those letters only for the state to tale my license away again. The clerk of the court won't help me or accept my receipts and I have no way of contacting the plaintiff in the matter. Even the state of florida can't find him. I'm really at a lose here and need some help badly.
