Dental Malpractice - Do I Have a Case and What Do I Need to Do

My question involves malpractice in the state of: Georgia

I have had a dental condition all of my life where basically my enamel never grew. Because of this, my teeth have always been prone to extremely rapid decay. There were also issues of which they never grew in properly and I had alot of impacted teeth in my jaw. In short some of them started abscessing and causing extreme pain. I wanted to go with implants but I couldn't afford them so I chose dentures.

Around the beginning of July of 2017 I went to a dentist who stated that they could remove my teeth and replace with dentures. Alot of my teeth, including my wisdom teeth; were impacted. I also grew an extra set of molars which caused some severe crowding issues. Well. He said he could pull them. The operation was spread out over a period of time which would allow for me to pay for the surgeries as well as the dentures because with all the extractions, even with insurance considered it was going to cost me around $13,000 (Implants were going to be around $80,000) ...

The first visit they slated to remove only 4 teeth, which is what I signed and consented to, however; the doctor ends up removing 10 teeth instead, some because he had difficulties getting to others. This was ensued with severe bleeding and obviously, difficulty eating. The next visit was followed up approximately two weeks later, early August of which the remainder of my rear teeth were removed. After this operation I noted that we were WAY ahead of our agreed payment plan because we were only supposed to be removing 4 teeth per visit. The dentist said everything was fine, my insurance and care credit was covering it and scheduled me for another visit in a month. Before that period of time came however I noticed several bone spurts all over my mouth and some were causing serious discomfort so I had to have him remove those.

We're now at the end of August, early September and I go in and they bring me to a different office. This office has no idea of my arranged payment plan and no idea as to what was and wasn't paid so in short they told me that I would need to bring them $2,000 before they could do anything else.. ..I wasn't happy.. Later in September I bring 2 grand and they take my dental impressions but before any extractions began they tell me I'm still not done paying and now I'm pissed because I told the dentist to begin with that he pulled way too many teeth out at once pushing me too far ahead of our agreement and now I can barely eat.

So after having no work done for another month, pushing me till October, the office calls me up wondering where I've been and I told them I didn't have the money for their treatments so they told me they would work something out and finish to work (I have a recording of that call as well.) ... So I go there and they pull all my upper teeth, and then tell me they're not going to do the lowers or give me any dentures until I'm fully paid up. NOW I'm pissed.. I really lit into them and they finally agreed to finish the work, so I came back and they began on the lowers but they didn't tell me some very important details about my lower jaw... That I had 4 impacted teeth in my lower jaw that required an Oral Surgeon to remove, and that I also had 2 impacted wisdoms remaining in the back of my jaw (they initially told me that they removed all my wisdoms).. He attempted to remove 2 of those impacted teeth on his own and while he was successful at that, my lower jaw collapsed and I experienced unexplainable amounts of pain and I mean to a decree where I have broken bones in my life and I have NEVER experienced anything that hurt like this... (I started punching walls in and throwing couches around before I completely went into shock and it required several morphine shots as well as percocet to sedate me.) They left incissions open and I bled for over a week before I finally went to an Oral Surgeon who explained I still had impacted teeth and I would never be able to wear the dentures they gave me until they're removed. I also lost the front part of my entire lower jaw, its GONE..all of the bone is missing. The Oral Surgeon said bone grafting will be necessary to rebuild that (I don't mean like a socket, I mean the entire front part of my lower jaw dental bone is gone.)

So the dentist calls me up and I explain to him what my Oral Surgeon told me about the impacted teeth and he told me those teeth weren't important (I have this call recorded as well.). The dentures he gave me will not fit my lower jaw at all.. they just fall right out of my mouth and I am missing too much bone support to wear them. That and also because the impacted teeth (one of which is now exposed)..

It's going to cost me $10,000 to build my jaw and remove the impacted teeth... and an additional $65,000 to put teeth back in my jaw...

I have tried several attorneys and most of them don't want to touch this case.
I also contacted the Georgia Board of Dentistry of whom did take the case but have not for months provided me any updates
I do have an attorney who will represent me now but he wants me to get the work done first ( $75,000 !!! ) before going after the dentist...

Do I have a case? What will happen if I try to just sue him without an attorney and how would I do that?
