My question involves insurance law for the state of: Nevada. I purchased a tao tao 50. I recieved a bill of sale and was able to register it in my name. On new years day a lady hit me on my scooter at a four way stop and she was cited for failing to yield the right of way. Her insurance company deemed my scooter a total loss. Now the insurance company wants a title so they can then cut me a check. Dmv says the scooter was never titled therfore no record. Now what?
