My question involves a child custody case from the State of: LA. Do I have the right to audio record my meetings with the custody evaluator? She told me that she does not want any recording (I never asked her, she just said it and I thought it was weird - what is she afraid of?). She said that if needed, she will get "the attorneys to get a Consent judgement" about not recording the sessions. What does the law say about my right to record it?
