My question involves marriage law for the State of: CA
My question involves marriage law for the State of: CA
I will be getting married in the next few months and even though we want it to last forever reality is you must protect yourself just in case. The following items have been acquired/earned by me as a single man and want to protect myself. My fiancee is disabled on SSI which will go away once married so only earning will be from my pensions. So if a divorce was to happen how would I protect myself from the court awarding any of the following to her:
1. House and furnishings
2. Military pension, already receiving
3. CalPers pension, already receiving
4. 457 plan benefits which was all earned as single except for any dividends that may be made after marriage
5. Vehicle

Thank you for you assistance
